       Pete lectures at the People's Court located at Illinois Central College on behalf of the Peoria County Bar Association.  Pete lectured on business formations from both a legal and business perspective.

        Pete opens a Chicago location law office.  The new office is located at 1 South Dearborn St, Suite 2100, Chicago, Illinois.  The building was finished in 2005 and is located in the heart of Chicago, one block from the Daley Center.

Pete meets with top executives of Google at Palo Alto California to discuss legal issues associated with the Internet and technology.  Top executives included Kent Walker Vice President and General Counsel for Google, Daphne Keller Senior Product Counsel for Google Web Search, Picasa Web Albums, and Google Toolkit, Marc Crandall Product Counsel for Google Apps, Google Talk, and Gmail, Lance Kavanaugh Product Counsel for Google Pack, Google Docs & Spreadsheet, and Google Page Creator, Shailesh Rao Content Partnership with the Government, Alexander Macgillivray Associate General Counsel for Products and Intellectual Property, Dave Sobota Senior Corporate Counsel, Maureen Bradford Product Marketing Manager for Google Apps and Jeremy Milo Product Marketing Manager for Google Apps.   Pete is a member of the Standing Committee on Science and Technology for the American Bar Association and was one of eleven members making the trip.

          Brian Hermanson, Chair, American Bar Association's Criminal Law Committee appoints Peter LaSorsa as Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") liason for the Committee.  Peter is responsible for picking a topic of interest to attorneys concentrating in criminal law, finding a moderator and several speakers to accompany Peter in providing a CLE at the American Bar Associations annual meeting.

          Peter LaSorsa travels to Microsoft's World Headquarters located in Redmond Washington with the American Bar Associations Standing Committee on Technology and Information Systems for a briefing at the executive conference center.  The briefing included top executives from Microsoft on the future of technology, the Internet and its impact on the legal community.
