Speaking Engagements

August 10-17, 2008 at the request of Norwegian Cruiselines, Peter LaSorsa will deliver four technology seminars aboard the Norwegian Dream as it sails from Boston to Bermuda.  Pete is a featured lecturer for Norwegian Cruiselines and gives both legal and technology lectures.

June 1-8, 2008 at the request of Norwegian Cruiselines, Peter LaSorsa will deliver four technology seminars aboard the Norwegian Dawn as it sails from New York to Bermuda.  Pete was selected to lecture on technology issues because of his background in technology and legal issues associated with technology, including Pete's visits to Google and Microsoft where he met with the top business and legal executives discussing legal and technology issues.

May 1, 2008, at the request of the Peoria County Bar Association, Peter LaSorsa lectured at the People's Court at Illinois Central College on the legal and business issues associated with business formations in Illinois. 

October 4, 2007, at the request of Lorman Education Services, Peter LaSorsa is a featured speaker at the Document Retention and Destruction seminar.  Peter spoke on the Litigation Consequences of Not Properly Destroying Documents.  The seminar was attended by leading Information Technology and Document Retention professionals from around the state.

September 8, 2007, Peter LaSorsa speaks at the Illinois State Bar Associations 3rd Annual Solo and Small Firm Conference at the Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles Illinois.  Pete spoke on Electronic Filing in Federal Court.  The seminar was well attended by attorneys and judges from throughout the state.  The seminar qualified for CLE credit.

August 26-September 1, 2007, at the request of Norwegian Cruiselines, Peter LaSorsa delivers four legal seminars aboard the Norwegian Spirit as it sails from New York to Florida, Nassau,Bahamas and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas-a private island owned by Norwegian Cruiselines.

May 10, 2007, Pete gives a seminar on Small Claims Court at Illinois Central College as part of the Peoples Court program sponsored by the Peoria County Bar Association.  The seminar walked people through the various steps on filing and litigation, including strategies and techniques.

August 6th-13th, 2006, at the request of Norwegian Cruiselines, Peter  LaSorsa delivers four legal seminars aboard the Norwegian Crown as it sails from New York to Bermuda.  The topics of the seminars include: the Freedom of Information Act, Identity Theft, Law 101 and How to Represent Yourself in Court.
