RICO

Civil and Criminal RICO

On October 15, 1970 President Nixon signed into law the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act ("RICO") as Title IX of the 1970 Organized Crime Control Act.

Basically there are no substantive differences between civil and criminal RICO. Both apply to the same types of conduct. There are exceptions to this rule, but these exceptions are based on the differences between the law generally as it applies to the civil and criminal systems and are not specific to RICO. If you are charged under RICO you need immediate legal representation. Call my office today. 309-712-1145
